Thanks to its unique properties, gold as a radiance enhancer and vehicle for powerful active ingredients is particularly well-suited to devitalised skin – skin that is fragile, thin, dry and dull, deficient in nutrients. Both environmental conditions and physiological changes can contribute to skin’s fragile state. When skin is devitalised, it becomes less receptive to nutrients, leading to a slowing down of renewal processes. For skin to function more efficiently, it needs to be constantly exposed to active ingredients. To address this particularity of devitalised skin, La Prairie has developed a new Pure Gold Science Platform, designed to provide sustained delivery of two key replenishing active ingredients to compensate for the loss of receptiveness of the skin. The Pure Gold Diffusion System delivers a three-peak action sequence to the skin. First comes the immediate deposition of gold on the skin’s surface to offer instant radiance. An intense infusion of replenishing active ingredients follows. Finally, a gradual release of a revitalising active ingredient completes the sequence.

The Pure Gold Revitalizing Duo is designed for both morning and evening use—an indulgent moment to begin and end the day with radiance. This luminous duo works in harmony to revitalise and illuminate, restoring the glow time has diminished. Pure Gold Radiance Concentrate: after cleansing and toning, dispense one to two drops of Pure Gold Radiance Concentrate onto your fingertips. Gently warm between your fingers, then massage into the skin using circular motions—from forehead, along the bridge of the nose, to cheeks and jawline. For a complete ritual, follow with Pure Gold Radiance Eye Cream and conclude with Pure Gold Radiance Cream. Pure Gold Radiance Cream: apply Pure Gold Radiance Cream after the Concentrate. Begin with a sliding motion between the eyebrows, gliding up to the forehead and out toward the temples. Sweep across the cheekbones to the nose, down to the jawline, and along to the chin. Finish by sliding one hand gently around the mouth. Repeat the sequence until fully absorbed.
