La Prairie has commissioned Taiwanese dancer, new media artist and choreographer Wen-Chi Su to pay tribute to the magical encounter of light and water brought to life in a poetic, aesthetic, feminine art performance. This singular encounter is expressed through the highest form of movement – dance. In her performance, the artist interacts with her installation to express a story of Swiss nature, glimmering light, fluidity and femininity. It is an artistic performance that engenders deep emotions: enchantment, sensoriality, timelessness. An aesthetic and physical expression of the unique encounter between light and water: Wen-Chi Su’s piece is a metaphor for its glimmering luminosity.

Wen-Chi Su’s collaboration with La Prairie is exclusively presented during Art Basel Miami Beach 2021 as part of the luxury house’s ongoing collaboration with the world renowned Modern and contemporary art fair. With this new artistic venture, La Prairie enters for the first time into the world of performance art where body, movement and femininity come together to enrich the house with a new paradigm.
