Does La Prairie utilise a transparent supply chain?
La Prairie Group AG and its affiliates (collectively “La Prairie”) are committed to ethical practices and the protection of human rights, as we recognize the importance of fair labor practices within La Prairie and our supply chain. We do not tolerate any form of forced or compulsory labor in direct or indirect association with our activities. For our suppliers, we have developed a Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets out harmonized and binding criteria for responsible action (the “Code”). The Code is designed to ensure that our suppliers meet the same standards in the area of sustainability that are binding for us. The Code covers issues such as corruption and human rights as well as environmental protection. We have developed an appropriate system with which we can monitor our suppliers’ compliance with the Code and regulate how we deal with any breaches.

Who was Paul Niehans, and what is his connection to La Prairie?
Dr. Paul Niehans was a physician working in Switzerland throughout the 1930’s. His professional experience in tending to young men who had fallen on the battlefield led him to ponder not only on the precious nature of life, but also on quality of life and how this might be improved. He sincerely believed that if one had the ability to extend a person’s life, it must be done in a way which makes those extra years all the more rewarding.
Dr. Niehans practiced at a time during which medicine was making many breakthroughs regarding the promotion of longevity. Working tirelessly, he developed his own theories regarding how to improve both longevity and life itself. At The Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland, Dr. Niehans treated and improved the lives of over 5,000 clients in his quest for ultimate rejuvenation, utilising his innovative and industry-defining cellular therapy.
While his beliefs were considered bold at the time, once he had published his book, Introduction to Cellular Therapy, his theories were increasingly accepted and lauded by the wider scientific community.
